Job Description
Be the first line of defence keeping our mining fleet safe, compliant, and moving — 24/7.
We’re seeking an experienced Control Centre Operator to support our mining and heavy haul transport operations across the Goldfields. This role is critical to maintaining safe, compliant, and efficient fleet movements in a high-risk, 24/7 mining environment.
Using MtData and Guardian DSS, you’ll monitor live fleet activity, manage fatigue and safety alerts, coordinate incident responses, and support mine site leadership with real-time operational oversight.
What You’ll Be Doing
Real-time monitoring of fleet telematics (GPS, speed, geofencing, driver status).
Managing Guardian DSS fatigue and distraction alerts, including escalation and stand-downs.
Coordinating responses to safety, compliance, and operational incidents.
Supporting Journey Management Plans (JMPs) for long-haul and remote mining runs.
Maintaining accurate shift logs, reports, and handovers.
Supporting compliance with MRWA, fatigue management, and mine site TMPs
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a 24/7 mining, transport, or heavy industry operations environment.
IVMS / telematics experience (MtData, Guardian DSS or similar).
Strong situational awareness and calm decision-making under pressure.
Knowledge of MRWA requirements, fatigue risk management, and CoR obligations.
Confident communicator with solid computer skills (Microsoft 365, reporting, dashboards).
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Mandatory Requirements
Valid WA Driver’s Licence
National Police Clearance.
Ability to obtain mine site inductions.
Highly Regarded
Prior control room or IVMS experience.
Familiarity with WA RAV networks and Goldfields logistics.
Pronto and/or MYOSH experience.
Leadership or senior operator experience.
