Job Description
MLG Oz is on the lookout for an experienced and dependable Storeperson to join our Crushing & Screening team in Cockburn. If you thrive in a hands-on warehouse role, enjoy fast-paced site environments, and take pride in keeping operations running smoothly, this could be the role for you.
You’ll play a key part in managing inventory, supporting site operations, and ensuring materials are where they need to be — safely, accurately, and on time. Site travel is required as business needs demand.
The Role
Reporting to the Area Manager– Crushing, this full-time position offers:
5/2 roster
Full-time, secure employment
Site travel as required
What You’ll Be Doing
Manage purchasing activities, including requisitions, purchase orders, receipting, invoicing, and supplier coordination
Oversee inventory management, including receipting, stock control, cycle counts, and bi-annual stocktakes
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for transport to site
Book and coordinate freight collections and deliveries
Support project start-ups and demobilisations, including warehouse setup and system configuration
Review slow-moving, excess, and obsolete stock with the Inventory Controller
Ensure compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and systems
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment to load and unload materials safely and efficiently
Maintain a clean, organised, and safety-focused warehouse
What You’ll Bring
Proven warehousing background in a similar role
Experience across purchasing, inventory management, pick & pack, freight booking, and invoicing
Current Driver’s Licence
Current Forklift Licence with hands-on experience
Experience in a Crushing & Screening or heavy industry environment (highly regarded)
Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment
Certificate II in Warehousing (desirable)
