Working alongside an experienced kitchen team, you'll play a key role in providing nutritious, high-quality meals that keep our workforce fuelled and ready for the day ahead.

10-hour shifts with a rotating breakfast or dinner roster

Shift Times:
Breakfast Shift: 2:30am – 12:30pm
Dinner Shift: 11:00am – 9:00pm
Please note: This is a Kalgoorlie residential role.
About the Role
Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast or dinner meals for 65+ personnel daily
Planning and organising menus while catering for dietary requirements and preferences
Maintaining exceptional food presentation, taste and consistency
Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health standards
Managing stock levels, ordering requirements and minimising food wastage
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
Supporting smooth kitchen operations during busy meal service periods
Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work areas
What You'll Bring
Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (within validity period)
Previous experience in a bulk catering or high-volume kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality
Pre-Employment Requirements
Australian Citizenship or unrestricted Australian working rights
National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
